Accessing the Vault in eMoney

What is the eMoney Vault?

The Vault feature of your eMoney website allows you to safely and securely store important documents and files (wills, trusts, insurance documents, passports, etc.) in electronic format. You can organize and protect your most important files. The Vault allows you and SCM to share documents securely.

Where to find the eMoney Vault?

When you log into your eMoney account, you can click on the “Vault” at the top of the page.

Inside the vault, you will find folders where you can organize all of your documents.

  • The Shared Documents folder is for saving files that you want us to see or SCM to securely send to you.

  • The Orion folder is where SCM posts your quarterly reports and your Charles Schwab statements/tax forms.

  • The My Private Documents is for storing private files.

How Do I Upload a Document to My Vault?

For this example, we will use the Shared Document folder. Click on the “Shared Document” Folder and then click the button “Upload” button on the top right side of the screen.

Choose the file option and then locate the file on your device. Once selected, click open and the file will be uploaded to the folder. We ask that you kindly reach out to our office to notify us if it is something you would like us to review.

Security is a top priority for us, and your personal website is equipped with advanced encryption technology to help protect the integrity of your information. Additionally, the site is read-only, which makes is unlikely for money to be moved in or out of the system.

If you do not have access to eMoney or need assistance logging in, please contact us.
